Smoked Scamorza is a stretched curd cheese made from cow’s milk that initially follows the same production process as White Scamorza. It is then smoked with wheat straw which gives the scamorza a golden color and the typical smoky flavor.
The smoking phase takes place in compliance with hygienic rules and at a controlled temperature so as not to deform the scamorza cheese and prevent potentially harmful substances from developing. Moreover, thanks to this particular and traditional processing, the scamorza does not dehydrate or lose its elasticity!
Our scamorza follows all the manufacturing processes manually and does not have, like all our products, neither preservatives nor dyes.
Shipping and Storage
Scamorza is shipped as soon as its production process ends and arrives at your Italian home within 24h.
To preserve its freshness avoiding possible storage in courier warehouses during the weekend, the product is shipped only from Monday to Wednesday.
